The brand was created in 1992 by Alexander McQueen also known as “hooligan of English fashion”. After his death in 2010, Sarah Burton took the role as creative director of the brand becoming designer of the year.

The brand uses a small proportion of sustainable and natural materials such as organic cotton and linen and, moreover, semi-synthetic regenerated fibers such as modal, viscose, and acetate made from renewable materials.
